Dr. Terry Smith received a grant from SIMS for his work with Metta Calana, a medical clinic in Thailand for Burmese refugees. Metta Calana supports efforts by local people to meet the needs of women and children from Burma who are disadvantaged, to enable them to live healthy and free. Dr. Smith is headed for Thailand and will be speaking to us about the progress of the clinic when he returns.
