The art club after school at Ethel Phillips is all about fun and creativity. It’s one of many programs our club has brought to this special community school in South Sacramento. The last project of the year was 3D collages. Amazing what kids can do with cigar boxes and time to be creative! During the school year the children did self portraits and learned about mixing paints and building color. Literacy is reading, and so much more.

Our thanks to teacher Eva Zunkeler for her support and help, and to SIMS members Flo Grossenbacher and Davida Feder for all their work with the students.
